For the great plains, the going-up mount Kilimanjaro, the photographic scenarios, for heavy populated wildlife areas. In certain areas of northern Tanzania you can go around by 4x4, always with your guide. Most people however tend to fly between locations. Small aircrafts land on airstrips located nearby most camps. And we use helicopters too, to visit more remoe areas.

Tanzania is a big 5 country, and also the heart of the Great Migration. It’s a destination known for its abundance of wildlife. Most safaris happen on a 4x4, but you can choose a balloon activity at sunrise. In some places you can walk too. It’s also a place famous for its mobile tented camps that follow the Migration in the Serengeti which makes the overall experience real and authentic.

There are so many national parks to visit that you could spend weeks here. But if time is of essence we recommend at least 10 nights in the country.

Climbing the Kilimanjaro, visit villages and Masai communities, go trekking or biking for days in the most spectacular landscapes, stay in Mobile Tented Camps to follow the Migration and feel the adrenaline. Tanzania is also one the best places to see chimpanzees and we love the southern part of the country too: less crowded, with chances to do boat safaris and have great wildlife sightings.

April and May are rainy months. November and December can also have rains.
