Do head into Tanzania and miss this part is a shame. It’s a contrast with the open views of the Serengeti, a feel of a forest rather with animals popping out in all places. It’s an opportunity to see communities too, and interact with them. If animals is what you are in for, and a classic tour of the northern part of Tanzania is in your radar, this is a great stop.
