Lebombo is situated in the famous Kruger National Park, built high on a dramatic rock formation clifftop, facing a river and the endless wild views of the bush. READ MORE BELOW.
You might be in the heart of the action but this corner is a private concession which means you will not see cars, have other noise or human presence besides yourself. It’s a bliss. And with lots to experience: on our first safari we got to spend time with 3 leopards on a kill and one of them had the most incredible pale turquoise blue eyes which is something we had never seen before. We left hoping he will make it into adulthood so that these genes can be passed on the future cubs.
But not only leopards are the stars here… you are signing into quite an extensive list of wildlife sights. And although the thrill outside the lodge is a must-see, leaving the property can also feel like a sin. We love to send our guests into exquisite experiences and Lebombo is a premium product on all levels: prepare yourself for some wine tasting under your sommelier advisement. The food is the healthiest and tastiest you can dream of on safari, and your butler will make sure you taste it in detail.
And finally there is the property in itself: wide open to you, spacious, nordic and wood decors, a long and inviting pool, high decks to plunge into nature, comfortable areas everywhere and rooms that feel too perfect to be left alone: an outside bed with a net facing the river down below, a lounge area and the amenities one can hope to find: wifi, tasteful food and healthy juices on the fridge, candles, bath salts, yoga mats. Nothing is a miss. This is a place we hope to send clients stay for a few nights so that they can enjoy the indoors as much as the outdoors. There is a fully equipped gym, yoga room, a spa and an exquisite boutique where the most tasteful pieces of African art, crafts, clothes and jewellery can be seen. This lodge is a destination in itself - and the service is exquisite - it calls for a stay that should be combined with other contrasting experiences in South Africa. That’s why we are here to plan this our journey for you.
